Following the successful launch of our self-titled debut album in early 2023, we went back to Clear Lake Studios in the fall of that year to record the follow-up — same players, same location; different grooves, different hooks. The passion for jazz in all its myriad forms is still present: The opening track, Tasha, is a clear ode to The Brecker Brothers, while Cleopatra’s Needle is inspired by the haunting beauty of the Middle East and its distinctive musical traditions. Seven more songs round out the album.
